AdNet Membership: Stronger Together
AdNet is a national membership organization dedicated to community foundation professionals serving in fund development, philanthropic advising, and donor service roles.
In 2025, AdNet transitioned from an individual membership to an organizational-wide membership for community foundations. This change enhances our value and foster deeper collaboration, ensuring that entire teams can engage in our network.
Membership Tiers
Annual membership tiers for community foundations:
- $250 – Assets under $100 million
- $500 – Assets between $100 million and $500 million
- $750 – Assets between $500 million and $900 million
- $1,000 – Assets over $900 million
Special Membership Options
For retirees, former CF staff, and professionals who support community foundations:
- $250 – Emeritus members ( retired or transitioning professionals)
- $500 – Professionals providing support or services to community foundations
Memberships are annual (January 1 – December 31) and are not prorated. There is no cap on the number of staff who can participate in organizational membership.

Why the Change?
Our previous individual membership model had not changed since AdNet’s inception in 2012. Based on member feedback, we recognized that an organizational model would:
- Enable entire teams to engage without financial barriers
- Support professionals across various roles within a community foundation
- Encourage cross-team collaboration & knowledge-sharing
This transition strengthens our network, removes silos, and enhances thought leadership across the field.
